The countries that were part of the former Republic of Yugoslavia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Republic of Macedonia and the Serbian province of Kosovo, which at present time is under the interim administration of the United Nations, announced that they have come to an agreement for the creation of a new lottery game that will be recognized in all their territories.

The new form of lotto, that is estimated to be launched in fall, next year, will cover a 20 million people market. The exact characteristics of the game are still unknown but it was said that it will be more attractive than the ones existing at the moment in each country since it will have more important prizes.

The news was announced from Serbia, and although it was said that the agreement would be signed soon, there are still some issues to be adjusted in terms of the legislative differences exiting among these nations, mainly related to the tax collecting method that will rule this new game.

In this way, through gambling, an original new strategy is born for the integration of a complex geographical region in which important social and political differences still exist.
