Tennessee’s Lotto 5 game has set a new record with the current jackpot for Monday night’s drawing now estimated at $730,000. The previous record of $670,823, which was sold in Morristown, was won in October of 2004.

Friday’s Lotto 5 drawing produced 3,116 winners throughout the state, including 98 players who won $174 each and 3,018 players who won $9 each.

Tennessee’s Powerball game on Saturday produced 26,104 winners who purchased tickets from retailers in the state, including one $500,000 winning ticket purchased in Murfreesboro. This winning ticket contained the correct five white ball numbers minus the Powerball number, which usually yields a $100,000 win. However, since this ticket was purchased with the Power Play option, the prize was multiplied by the drawn multiplier ball, which for this drawing was five.

An additional 5,421 players multiplied their winnings by five by also selecting the Power Play option.
