A MAN who scooped £13million on the lottery has a secret lovechild he has hardly ever seen.
Meat packer and bingo caller Ken Henry, 58, walked out on his daughter Sarah O'Connor and her mother, Marjorie, when the girl was just a few months old.
Sarah and her mum were so hard up they had to live in a caravan for several months until they moved into a council house.
Sarah, now 32, has two young children of her own and a third is due in September.
She only discovered her dad's lottery win through the papers.
Ken and his partner of seven years, supermarket worker Sandra Fosbrooke, 43, plan to spend part of their lotto winnings on a villa in Spain.
He also hopes to buy a private box at Liverpool football club.
After their win, they revealed that Ken had two children, Terry, 24, and Dee, 29, while Sandra had a son Matthew, 20, and a nine-year-old daughter, Ffion.
But there was no mention of Ken's first child Sarah, who lives a few miles from him in the village of Furnace, near Llanelli, South Wales.
Yesterday, Sarah said: "I really don't want to talk about it.
"It would not be fair on my children to bring this up now. It all happened a long time ago."
She added: "I don't want any money. I have no interest in money or stories. There's no point. Please respect my wishes."
Friends revealed that Sarah only discovered that Ken was her real father two years ago.
Until then, she had grown up thinking that her dad was David O'Connor, who her mum married before Sarah was two.
Sarah suffered another blow when her own family fell into debt and had to sell their home.
It led to her and her husband Julian Miller splitting up.
Sarah, who has reverted to the surname O'Connor, now lives with their children in Gorseinon, where a family friend said: "She has been through hell these past few years and been hit very hard.
"Finally, Ken has the chance to put things right.
"If he's any kind of a man, he'll do the right thing now and make sure Sarah and her children - his grandchildren - are given back the financial security they lost. She is not a gold digger and may well not want any of his money, but there is nothing to stop Ken from buying a nice house somewhere and putting the keys to it through her front door.
"A gesture like that would go a long way to repairing some of the damage he has caused.
"He left Sarah and Marjorie a few months after she was born and played no part in her upbringing. When Sarah was about five, Marjorie and David were so poor they had to live in a friend's caravan for several months while the council tried to find them somewhere to live.
"They are proud people and would never ask Ken to contribute to Sarah's upkeep.
"They shouldn't have needed to ask him because Ken should have been putting his hand in his pocket for her from the start.
"The only time he ever saw her was if they bumped into one another in Llanelli. He has not provided towards her upkeep since the day he left them."
Mr O'Connor, who has four children with Marjorie, declined to comment at his home in Pendy, six miles from Llanelli.
Mr Henry and his partner Sandra were last night celebrating their huge win in London. When told about the Mirror story, Mr Henry said: "Thanks for telling me, but I feel I have nothing to say."
