Bingo Elton John marry

Singer Elton John hopes to marry his long-term partner David Furnish in a civil ceremony in December -- even though he will be too busy to take his dream man away for a romantic honeymoon.

John plans to take immediate advantage of new British legislation coming into effect on Dec. 5 which will allow same sex couples to be legally recognized as a civil partnership.

He's already making arrangements to follow in British royal Prince Charles' footsteps when he married Camilla Parker Bowles on April 9 -- by exchanging vows in Windsor, England.

The 58-year-old singer said, "We definitely want to do it around the middle of December, probably in Windsor. But there will be no honeymoon. I'm on tour."

John has been with Canadian television producer Furnish since 1993.
