UNITED STATES – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Mega Millions players are feeling the excitement as the jackpot continues to grow. When Tuesday's winning numbers were drawn, they turned 426,995 tickets into Mega Millions winners. Each of those tickets matched one of Mega Millions' nine prize levels. Since no ticket matched all six numbers, the jackpot grows to an estimated $77 million for the Friday, November 5, 2004 drawing.

Three Mega Millions tickets won $175,000 for matching the first five numbers and only missing the Mega Ball number. Those tickets were sold in Illinois, New Jersey and New York. In addition, 23 tickets won $5,000 each for matching four numbers plus the Mega Ball.

The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were: 24-32-42-49-50 and the Mega Ball number was 03.

Mega Millions is played in Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
